CALGARY, ALBERTA
PROJECT SUMMARY
The Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) is a voluntary climate change program that works to reduce companies’ greenhouse gas emissions and mitigate climate change risks. As a participant of this program, one of our multinational clients was required to complete the investor CDP on-line information package. This involved collecting detailed information from across their international locations.
OUR ROLE
Our client asked us to collect the required information and complete the on-line information package. We reviewed their company policies and approaches regarding climate change management and related subjects. Additionally, the information collected required the accumulation, assessment and calculation of specific data related to greenhouse gas emissions. Once all data was gathered it was reported in the CDP on-line system.
OUTCOME
The submission was accepted by the CDP and Matrix was retained to complete the assessments for subsequent years.
