MARK PFEIFER, GIS ANALYST
“The ability to work on so many different types of projects keeps things fresh and allows me to provide solutions to many different problems.”
Through my job, I get to dip my hands into a variety of projects ranging from environmental site assessments (ESAs), reclamation and remediation, risk assessments, hydrogeological analysis, spill response as well as remote sensing.

TESTIMONIAL FROM A MATRIX WATER RESOURCES ENGINEER
“Matrix is a great place to continue learning, allowing you to take the knowledge you’ve gained and apply it to real world projects.”
I started with Matrix as an intern and was hired full-time since graduating. One of my favourite things about Matrix is the open communication and collaboration between the different teams. Although I’ve been working with the hydrogeology team, I have opportunities to chat with other team members about their projects, and I’ve even had opportunities to work on projects outside of our team. The structure of the company and the culture of the people working here make it really easy to do that.
