Matrix Solutions recently signed a joint alliance with Samson Cree Nation. Rob Pockar, President and CEO of Matrix Solutions and Chief Kurt Buffalo of the Samson Cree Nation attended a signing ceremony on January 18, 2017, in Maskwacis, Alberta to finalize the agreement.
Matrix is partnering with the Samson Cree Nation to provide environmental services. Our new alliance with Samson Cree Nation allows Matrix and Samson Cree Nation to enhance our abilities to conduct environmental services for oil and gas, utilities, infrastructure and pipeline projects, both on and off the Samson Cree Reserve lands.
Located in Maskwacis, Alberta near Ponoka County in central Alberta, Samson Cree Nation has a service company, Bear Hills Industries, which provides local capacity for industrial site development, environmental assessment, and decommissioning.
Together, our alliance will bring local, scientific, and traditional resources to help our communities and clients meet their environmental commitments. Our relationship creates the opportunity for long-term capacity building in environmental and traditional science for both workforces.
This as an exciting long-term relationship focused on our joint interest in environmental health, providing mutual benefit to Matrix, Samson Cree Nation and our clients.
