Matrix Solutions announces Holly Elrick as CEO

Canadian environmental and engineering consulting firm Matrix Solutions has appointed Holly Elrick as President and Chief Executive Officer. Elrick brings more than 20 years of executive leadership experience, which includes 10 years serving on Matrix’s senior leadership team first as Chief Financial Officer then as Chief Operating Officer, along with 5 years on the company’s board of directors.

“The Board was strongly of the view that Holly’s track record of strategic leadership and enabling the growth and performance of the business, combined with her commitment to our people, our values, and our clients were the essential attributes to lead our company into a period of diversified and profitable growth,” said John Feick, Matrix Solutions’ Board Chair.

Elrick is also pleased to announce that Brian Fuchs has been named as the company’s Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. Fuchs brings experience leading the delivery of Matrix’s services to clients for regulatory planning and permitting in the energy sector and emerging areas like zero-carbon fuels, energy storage projects, and carbon sequestration. He has served on Matrix’s senior leadership team since 2019 as an operations Vice President and most recently as Vice President, Revenue and Growth.
