Calgary, Alberta – For the second consecutive year, Mediacorp Canada has named Matrix Solutions Inc. as one of Canada’s Greenest Employers. This award is a nation-wide competition recognizing companies that create a culture of environmental awareness.
“Matrix is a company made up of people who care about environmental stewardship,” said Robert Pockar, Matrix President and CEO. “This award recognizes our efforts to embed this in the way we operate.”
Some of the reasons Matrix was chosen include:
- Encouraging employees to consider alternative transit
- Amenities and programs to promote cycling to work
- Recycling and composting programs to divert waste from landfills
- An Environmental Management System manual to guide environmental initiatives and programs
Each year Mediacorp Canada runs the Canada’s Top 100 Employers program, under which Matrix was named as one of Alberta’s Top 75 Employers in 2019, one of Canada’s Greenest Employers in 2018, and one of Canada’s Top Employers for Young People in 2017.
